Young boy spotted smoking next to adult on busy London street

Shocking footage has emerged showing a young boy smoking on a busy street in east London after a woman passes him a cigarette.

The video, filmed inside the restaurant Tex Bites, in Leytonstone, shows a woman on crutches smoking as she stands with the boy and another woman.

The boy appears to jump up and down before the woman holds out her hand and the boy grabs the cigarette from her.

He then smokes it while the woman tells him off and attempts to take it back from him.

After he has finished smoking it, he throws it to the ground before stubbing it out with his shoe.

The clip was taken by a 34-year-old courier who lives in Leytonstone and had come to the restaurant with his wife and two kids.
