Paris Saint-Germain linked with £100million move for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen this month

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly plotting a £100million raid on Tottenham for Christian Eriksen by the end of the month.

Should Spurs accept the staggering offer for Eriksen, it would surpass the £85.3m Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale in 2013.

The 26-year-old has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at Tottenham, which has not gone unnoticed by the Ligue 1 side.

PSG were reportedly interested in signing Eriksen before the World Cup after he netted 14 goals and provided ten assists in the 2017/18 campaign.

Now, according to the Daily Express, the French giants are ready to make a move.

However, Spurs will be determined to keep hold of their key player as they will not be able to sign a replacement due to the English transfer window closing on August 9.

They were the only side in Europe’s top five leagues to not make a single signing and Pochettino stressed his side’s strength with their current crop of players.

Eriksen started in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Newcastle on Saturday lunchtime and will most likely be involved in their derby against Fulham next weekend.

If Spurs will listen to any offers, the likelihood is that it will be in January, where they will be able to make signings of their own.
