What time will UCAS Track open on results day?

It’s nearly results day, which means every school-leaving-aged teenager in the country is doing everything they can not to worry about what happens next.

While the results are, of course, the thing people are waiting for, it’s also all about what they mean in terms of universities, colleges, and apprenticeships.

Before you head off to school to get your results, you should be able to see an updated version of the UCAS Track service (if you’ve applied for university).

This will show you whether you’ve been accepted to your choices, and take some of the pressure off of opening the dreaded envelope.

Even if it’s not the outcome you’d hoped for, it also gives you the chance to think about your options going forward, whether that’s clearing, or a different path altogether.

Here’s everything you need to know about UCAS Track.

When does UCAS Track open?

Track is actually open already, if we’re being pedantic.

However, the interface that shows you your course decisions will be open from 8am tomorrow – 15 August 2019. It’s not always an exact science, and some people find that it takes somewhat longer. This is a good guide time, though.

How does Ucas Track work?

If you are applying to University then you will have already used Track to make your applications and submit your details.

However, tomorrow your Track will start looking a little different.

As universities are shown your A-level results, they will start updating Track to show whether or not you have been accepted onto the course you applied for. This will start happening from around 8am tomorrow.

What Track won’t be able to show you however is your actual A-level grades. You’ll still need to head into school or college to pick them up. It’s unlikely that universities will email you directly with an offer.
