Maurizio Sarri’s men must undergo a 3,200 mile round trip to Belarus for the match and are not expected to put out a full strength side.

Eden Hazard has travelled after recovering from his back injury to feature against Crystal Palace on Sunday, though Alvaro Morata will be rested.

The Blues currently sit comfortably atop Europa League group L having won all of their first three matches.

As the other three teams in the group are currently tied on three points apiece, Chelsea will secure qualification to the knockout stages with win at BATE.

Maurizio Sarri: “Morata stayed in Cobham just to rest, and then just to have training.

“I think it is better for him to stay fit with two or three trainings than only with matches. It is normal.

“Sometimes it is better than to rest than always play. To train and physical qualities. If they only play they will lose that physical quality.”
