Barcelona are ready to lodge a player-plus-cash offer, including Arsenal and Tottenham target Malcom, in a bid to finally land Chelsea star Willian.
The Catalan giants attempted to sign the Brazilian over the summer but they decided against matching his £70m asking price.
But they have not given up hope of adding Willian to their star-studded squad and, according to La Sexta, a bid is now imminent.
It has even been suggested that the player’s agents have met with Barcelona to discuss the likelihood of a deal.
Having failed to sign him during the summer, Barca instead brought in Malcolm from Bordeaux.
However, the winger has endured a difficult start to life at the club and is already being linked with a move away – with Arsenal and Spurs keen.
Now it has been suggested that Barca may be ready to offer Chelsea around £17.5m plus Malcolm in exchange for Willian.
The 30-year-old has been a hit at Stamford Bridge since he arrived from Anzhi in 2013 and has racked up 177 Premier League appearances in that time, scoring 27 goals.
